  Ask to see the CA State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license of the person who is going to cut your hair. The guy who cut my son's hair was hurting him, cutting with a razor. My son was in pain, saying No! No! but the guy kept cutting. He didn't speak English - which is necessary if a customer is saying what they do and don't want done to their hair. He just pointed to pictures of haircuts in a poster. The owner tried to fix it herself at the end but it looked terrible, and my son was in tears from pain. I demanded to see his license and she lied -- tried to pass off her business license as his individual license. Then she lied saying she was the one who cut my son's hair, not this guy. She finally admitted he went to school but was not licensed. If I ever see anyone in there cutting hair without a license again, I'm calling the state.

  So apparently you don't even get the $9 haircut if you happen to just get it cut one length.
  I've brought my son in here today and she did everything so uneven and it was absolutely awful, then asked me for $15. Afterwards and I had to go home and fix it. Will never go here again and I hope nobody else makes a mistake to not read the reviews.

  This place is just as shady as an open late night massage parlor. Pretty sure illegal activity goes on here; only accepting cash and into their pockets, barbers being un-licensed, employees being paid in cash and wages unreported, etc.
