  Poor service is what happens when your job is guaranteed. There are about 4 or 5 postal workers I have seen at the counter. Most of these entitled workers are surly and...resentful (seems to be the word).
  I would probably act the same way if I was in their position. Why not? There's very little accountability. I can say this because no change in attitude in the last 8 years that I've been going there (only when I have to). Even when the recession hit in 2009.
  When employees behave like this in the real world they are let go.
