  Management needs to improve its employee hiring/training practices at this location. I've received excellent, polite service at another Oil Changers branch, but was treated very rudely at the Petaluma location by one employee.
  
  The staff member either miscalculated or miscommunicated the time frame for my car to be serviced. When I returned at the time he'd quoted and my car wasn't yet being worked on, I politely asked the service person for a re-quote of how long it would take. At that point, he made a dismissive gesture and walked away behind the hood of another car. I was so surprised by this behavior. I had to say, "Excuse me," to get his attention again and again asked for a new time estimate at which point he attempted to shift blame onto me for not understanding how long it might take. Clearly, it's the staff's job to clearly communicate these estimates, and if I hadn't understood the first time, it was this employee's job to politely explain it again, or to offer an apology for an unexpected delay. The attitude of this worker was calculated to make a customer feel like a hassle instead of a valuable patron.
  
  I'm certain this isn't the impression management wants workers representing their brand to make, and it's completely up to the management to improve the training staff receives so that they have been educated in customer service basics. It's my hope that this review, coupled with others I'm seeing in the same vein, will prompt regular training follow-ups to role play customer service scenarios so that every staffer is equipped with the skills they need to offer good service. I'd be hesitant to return to this location for my next oil change after this one notably poor experience.

  Came here like I usually do however new faces. I'm used to friendly workers and greeted with smiles. However at first I was still going to do business here. During the interaction I approached with a optimistic attitude that I came for a oil change and Maurice responded in a condescending tone " I know" ok well I know you guys offer more than just oil changes... He said a 30 min wait which I would have waited however filling out my information his demeanor and attitude just felt like he didn't want to work or be there. I do not feel comfortable on someone working on my car if they don't seem to want to work. I work in management and I highly suggest doing secret shops on your team and seeing how they interact with customers. After this experience I will no longer go to oil changers and take business elsewhere. I believe this is a common occurrence, extremely disappointed.
