  This popular park is a square shaped walk around a several acre pond of somewhat seasonal brackish water. It attracts ducks, geese, swans, gulls, and other shore birds. Half is paved and half gravel. It is quite flat. Bikes and strollers are popular here as well as office workers getting outdoor excercise. At the entrance on the first two legs in either direction are fresh water sloughs turtles and an occasional muskrat can be seen.
  
  Right now (4/11/18) there is a very visible and very large swans nest. There were two swans in it today.
  
  On the Eastern edge of the park is an estuary and mudflat with shorebirds. Clapper rails nest nearby. Birders come from all over as the different types of water ecology make habitat for all types of birds. I'm told it is in the Pacific flyover.
